Summer vacation is quickly coming to a close. We have been backpack shopping and we will soon be shopping for brand new school shoes and all of the school supplies that go into a backpack. The kids and I always enjoy this part. Last year my "baby" started Kindergarten. This year he will be a big first grader. He has changed and grown a lot this past year. It makes me sad. My oldest will be entering into Junior High School and sometimes the panic of how fast she is growing sets in and makes me want to stop the clock. I even have a third grader that in my mind's eye is still in 1st grade. How did time get away from me like that?
I am going to enjoy the last few weeks of summer. I hope to make a few extra special memories and take lots of pictures so I can put them into scrapbooks so when I look at the pictures years from now, it will bring me back to all of the special moments left behind . . . but definitely not forgotten.

Back-to-School Today!
Wow . . . it's so quiet around here. It almost feels like a ghost town. This is my bunch (above). They are all growing up way too fast these days! Savannah is in 6th grade, Emma is in 3rd grade and Landon is in 1st grade. Sniff, sniff. How'd they get so big???
